Doctor, wrong!

Surely every parent has at least once imagined that their baby will be plump, white and pink when born like babies who often appear on television, social networks or movies. However, in fact, when they first come out of the “cocoon” which is the mother’s womb, most babies wear a not-so-beautiful crown, and some even scare their parents.

When starting pregnant, Li Xiao (26 years old, living in China) quit her job to stay at home to take care of her pregnancy at the request of her family. Under the attentive care of her mother-in-law and her husband’s pampering, this pregnant mother’s pregnancy passed gently and quickly.

On the day of giving birth, Ly Hieu’s husband was originally going to go to the delivery room with his wife, but because he had received many advices from the sisters not to let her husband witness the scene of her “opening flowers and pistils”, lest she give birth. affected family happiness, so Ly Hieu firmly disagreed. Instead, her biological mother will be the one to stay with her daughter during childbirth.

Picking up the twins from the nurse, the husband suddenly shouted: amp;#34;Doctor, wrong!amp;#34; - first

Picking up twins from the nurse, Ly Hieu’s husband suddenly shouted: “This is not our baby”.

About an hour later, the nurse carrying the two babies outside announced: “Congratulations to the family. She gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.” Needless to say, Ly Hieu’s husband was so happy, he hurriedly took his two children’s hands in his arms. However, 1 minute later, he shouted: “Doctor, doctor, Wrong, this is not our baby”. The nurse was shocked and asked: “Why not your child? Your wife just gave birth.”

Bending down to look at her son again, Ly Hieu’s husband explained: “My husband and I are both white, and there is no black person in our family, but why are these two children black, and so on, their skin is wrinkled like those old grandparents. So you must have given me the wrong child.” At this point, the nurse laughed and explained: “There is no such thing as a new born child, slowly they will grow up and will be as beautiful as their parents.”

Just as good, when Ly Hieu’s mother-in-law came, looking at her two grandchildren, a boy and a girl, she happily said: “Oh, just like my dad when he was a kid”. Hearing that, Ly Hieu’s husband breathed a sigh of relief and enjoyed his happiness.

Why is a newborn baby “black”?

Picking up the twins from the nurse, the husband suddenly shouted: amp;#34;Doctor, wrong!amp;#34; - 2

Most newborn babies look “black” for a variety of reasons.

In fact, there are many new born babies who surprise their parents because of their dark skin. However, according to doctors, the fact that the baby’s skin is dark or purple is due to a lack of oxygen during childbirth. It means that the labor time is too long, causing the baby to be deprived of oxygen or because the baby is too big to be pushed for a long time, so the baby’s skin turns purple.

In addition, a newborn’s skin also looks “dull” due to jaundice. The cause of this phenomenon is because the newborn baby has a high number of red blood cells, which are often broken down to be replaced. Meanwhile, the baby’s liver is not mature enough to remove all bilirubin from the blood. Thus, jaundice occurs. However, parents do not need to worry too much, because when the baby is 2 weeks old, his liver has developed more fully and will be able to process all the bilirubin. At that time, the baby will become white and rosy.

In addition, because they have to be immersed in amniotic fluid for 9 months and 10 days, the skin of the newborn will also be wrinkled like old grandparents. But after only a few days out of the womb, the wrinkling will go away.

In short, it’s normal for a newborn baby to have dark, ugly, wrinkled skin. And over time, the children will grow up, the skin will return to the correct skin color according to the genetics, and at the same time, the old wrinkles will also disappear.
