More than 1,300 people dressed up as vampires set a Guinness World Record

More than 1,000 people dressed up as vampires set a world record

1,369 people came together to dress up in bizarre costumes, disguised as vampires to set a record.

The event took place on the grounds of Whitby Abbey, a cultural heritage site in England, whose great atmosphere is said to have inspired Bram Stoker to write the vampire character.

“We are delighted to have broken the world record for the largest number of people dressed up as vampires,” said Mark Williamson, the convent’s curator.
