On the evening of May 26, an ambulance was parked in the lobby of the apartment building – where the family of 4 died suspected of suicide.

However, sadly, there are cases of adults who commit suicide with their children that are not detected in time. The unjust deaths of innocent children have haunted society.

Talking with Infonet, sociology expert, Assoc Trinh Hoa Binh believes that life is increasingly stressful, each individual is more or less under pressure due to social impacts.

“Same pressure but different personality structure, different family’s cultural traditions will create different responses.

Accordingly, having compatible relationships that they have experienced differently will help this person have “armor” to withstand the impact of psychosocial pressure, but those who are too thin will not. tolerable“, Assoc. Dr. Trinh Hoa Binh said.

According to Assoc. Dr. Trinh Hoa Binh, the fact that people are desperate, looking to die hugging their child is a thought that wanders around when they think that they “go” and no one will take care of the child anymore. They want to unify their child. That’s why children are swept up in death without understanding anything.

“With a decent father and mother, they may die, leaving the burden to others including their children.

For fathers and mothers who sacrifice their lives to bring their children, most likely they do not want to put that burden on their children’s shoulders, worrying that no one will take care of them. However, such behavior is infringing upon children’s right to life, right to existence, right to education, right to participate, and right to development.

So in the end, men or women who seek death but bring the death of another being, even if it’s very small, unable to be strong, is still a selfish act.

Don’t make excuses that I’m dead and don’t know who he’s with. They do so, making this society more burdened with worries, sorrows, ugliness…“, Assoc. Dr. Trinh Hoa Binh emphasized.

In response to the question of how to prevent this situation and ensure the safety of the children, Assoc. Dr. Trinh Hoa Binh believes that there is an act of imitation here. That is, people are seen online, it is said that this person, when deadlocked, sacrifices their life to bring their children… So they quietly followed as a suggestion, and so on.

“Here, it is necessary to mention the role of the media when publishing, when blowing up stories of suicide, sacrificing life with lovers or children. It feels like providing a script for these and other people that in certain situations people see themselves as this person and act in a mindless way.

Therefore, in my opinion, the solution here is the story of the authorities, responsible agencies as well as the media to stop the reporting in a way that exploits more deeply, giving more specific details about people’s abuse. we sacrifice. This creates curiosity, stimulates someone to imitate…

Of course, to overcome this story is nothing but propaganda and social mobilization for Vietnamese children, for children’s right to life.
