Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, director of a transport business in Hanoi, said that when new cars are shipped or imported, companies must ensure full standards and take responsibility for quality. However, car owners still have to spend more money and time to register, so it is not necessary.

“Every year, the whole country has about 400,000 new cars rolled. If all these cars had to be registered at a cost of 340,000 VND/car, they would have spent more than hundred billion VND. Not to mention thousands of people still lost time. time and effort”, Mr. Minh said.

Ms. Nguyen Hanh (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi) said: “Many countries around the world do not register for the first time with a car that has just been shipped. There is no reason why the car has guaranteed technical specifications and is licensed to roll without any reason. consumers continue to have to go through the registration process again. So far, no 100% new car has failed to pass the registration.”

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai, Director of the My Dinh Motor Vehicle Registration Center (Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi) said that in previous draft legal documents, many times the first cancellation of registration with new vehicles had been done. is included. According to Mr. Hai, for newly manufactured cars, even if exempted from inspection for the first time, the cars still have to go to the registration centers to make documents to issue circulation permits.

“Anyway, the vehicle owner comes during the first inspection, which takes very little time because it skips many inspection stages. Maybe in the past, the vehicles registered for the first time did not detect the error but during the transportation process. When the issue is discovered, the manufacturers themselves also recall the vehicles during operation”, Mr. Hai said.

Mr. Hai said: It’s not uncommon for a new car to make a mistake, so it is necessary to go for registration. Currently, people mistakenly think that it will save money and time if they do not register for the first time. However, this does not save costs because consumers still have to pay a fee for the registration unit to make a dossier of the vehicle, issue a printing license only for the means of circulation.

Talking to PV Tien Phong, Mr. Bui Danh Lien, Chairman of the Hanoi Transport Association, said that for domestically produced and imported vehicles with clear origin and certification from the manufacturer, the inspection should be removed. first time.
