After completing the login procedure on the new device, the account will automatically log out on the resident’s old device.

Also according to the instructions of the Hanoi City Police, if people want to use fingerprint / facial recognition authentication for VNEID application, people need to enter the password of the electronic identification account at the first login. on the device; From the next time people can use fingerprint / face recognition to authenticate instead of login password by setting in the application.

When using in-app services, citizens must perform additional authentication using fingerprints/facial recognition and a passcode known only to the citizen. The password of the citizen’s account is required to have uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, special characters with a minimum length of 8 characters; are required to change periodically at least every 6 months.
