A meteor appeared in the sky last April

According to the Washington Post, if the battle meteor shower happens properly, it can lead to a spectacular “meteor storm” in which The earth passes through an exceptionally dense forest of meteorites, resulting in up to 1,000 shooting stars per hour. And as a bonus, the new moon will be bright and located in the constellation Hercules in the northern sky. This means there will be light pollution natural when meteors appear.

If the comet spawns a meteor storm with debris moving slower than 321 km/h, nothing will reach Earth and there will be no meteors from the comet, said Bill Cooke, head of the office of celestial environment. NASA fossil at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Meteors are most visible around 2 a.m. local time, and for the best view of them, people stay as far away from city lights as possible. Wear comfortable clothes, spray mosquito repellent and sit down on the grass to look up at the sky. The best meteor trails appear on the far side of the ray.

NASA warned: “If a comet comes our way this year, debris from it will strike Earth’s atmosphere very slowly, moving at a speed of just 16 kilometers per second. Slower meteors can tends to create fainter streaks in the sky.”

If you can’t catch any meteor showers around this time, don’t worry because there are many other meteor showers every year, usually the Perseids, which peak around mid-August.
