On May 29, the Tass news agency quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as confirming that the weapons depot attacked were located in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

“The long-range precision missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces wiped out a large arsenal of Ukrainian military weapons in the warehouse of an enterprise in Kryvyi Rih in the Dnepropetrovsk region,” ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said. Russian Defense said.

On the ground, the situation is tense in the Donbass region in eastern Ukraine as Kiev rejects Russia’s claim that it has complete control over the city of Lyman and besieges Sievierodonetsk.
