Stir-fried chicken with asparagus in 25 minutes
Stir-fried asparagus with chicken is not only nutritious but also very easy to prepare. Housewives should choose thin, fresh and hard asparagus to save cooking time.

Ingredients for the meat part
- 350g chicken breast meat
- 15 ml of water
- 5g cornstarch
- 5 ml cooking oil
- 5 ml oyster sauce
Ingredients for the sauce
- 120 ml of water
- 5g cornstarch
- 2g pepper
- 2g sugar
- 15 ml soy sauce
- 15 ml oyster sauce
Remaining ingredients
- 400g asparagus
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Cooking oil
Making
Step 1:
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, put it in a bowl, then mix it with water, cornstarch, cooking oil and oyster sauce. Marinate the chicken for about 15 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing the water, cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and pepper together in a small bowl.
- Wash asparagus thoroughly with water to remove dirt and use a knife or scissors to cut off the old stem. Next, cut the asparagus into bite-sized pieces.
- Peel the garlic, remove the green sprouts (if any), crush with the flat side of a knife and mince.

Step 2:
- Heat a pan with a little oil over medium heat, then add the chicken and cook until lightly browned or about 80% done.
- Turn off the heat, transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.

Step 3:
- In the same pan, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat, add the garlic and saute until fragrant.
- Next, add the asparagus to the pan and stir for about 2 minutes, then add the sauce mixture and cook until it comes to a boil.

- Return the chicken to the pan and mix well for about 30 seconds to infuse the sauce.
