The 3 largest shareholders in turn sold out their shares, Yeah1 is about to change owners?

On May 26, Ms. Tran Uyen Phuong reported the results of trading YEG shares of Yeah1 Group Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, Ms. Phuong sold 4.111 million shares of Yeah, reducing her holdings from 4.373 million to 263,000 shares. Ownership ratio decreased from 13.98% to 0.84%.

Remember, Ms. Phuong spent 81 billion VND, buying nearly 3.7 million Yeah1 shares from Chairman Nguyen Anh Nhuong Tong on January 10, 2022, with an average price of 22,000 VND/share.

In the transaction on May 26, the price that Ms. Phuong sold was 15,700 VND/share. After four and a half months, Phuong’s investment lost nearly 30%.

Thus, just recently, the largest shareholders of Yeah1 continuously sold out shares. The first is VinaCapital, divesting 2 times in March and April, selling all 9.74% of capital in this company.

Next is Ms. Tran Uyen Phuong, divesting more than 13% of capital.

In addition, at the beginning of June, Chairman Nguyen Anh Nhuong Tong also registered to sell all of more than 4 million Yeah1 shares (rate 12.89%).

The question is, who has and will the shares of VinaCapital, Ms. Tran Uyen Phuong and Mr. Nguyen Anh Nhuong Tong belong to? These transactions were made right before Yeah1’s shareholder meeting, scheduled to be held on June 15. Thus, it is not excluded that the Yeah1 superstructure will have big fluctuations in the coming June.

In 2021, Yeah1 achieved net revenue of 1,079 billion dong and profit after leasing nearly 30 billion dong thanks to rapidly selling subsidiaries at the end of the year, thereby escaping the delisting sentence.

In 2022, Yeah1 focuses on 5 main tasks. Firstly, complete the restructuring of the whole Group and strengthen the management apparatus. Second, continue to raise capital from diverse sources, seize market opportunities, especially in the Digital – Tech Media segment. Third, improve the retail business model more effectively and catch up with the trend (Social commerce, E-Commerce enablers…). Fourth, Leveraging strengths in communication and technology, seizing new business opportunities (eg Fintech). Fifth, complete the comprehensive digital transformation of the management system.

Yeah1 sets a revenue target of VND 588 billion and a profit of VND 24.7 billion in 2022.

Notably, at this year’s meeting, Yeah1 will present to shareholders a plan to issue 78.64 million shares, mobilize VND 786 billion, increase charter capital from VND 313 billion to nearly VND 1,100 billion.

The amount of 786 billion VND will be used 572.8 billion VND to supplement capital to expand investment activities in technology communication and other fields to complete the ecosystem. VND 73 billion is used to invest in the company’s technology infrastructure and VND 140.5 billion to pay short-term and long-term loans, suppliers and other working capital.
