Answering questions from farmers from Ha Nam, Deputy Governor of the State Bank (SBV) Dao Minh Tu said that since 2017, the State Bank has issued many policies to limit black credit.

Regularly direct credit institutions to expand and diversify banking products and services, reduce interest rates, and simplify lending procedures in order to enhance access to credit through official channels, especially for people in rural areas. , remote areas.

Create favorable conditions for consumer lending to develop, and at the same time have strict management to avoid distortion.

At the same time, strengthen communication activities on lending mechanisms and policies and banking services to a large number of people; answer many recommendations; warn of consequences for people to prevent and avoid “black credit”; focus on building television programs on financial education to help people have all the necessary knowledge and easily access official banking and financial services.

By the end of April 2022, outstanding loans for living needs, consumer loans with outstanding loans by the end of April 2022 reached over VND 2.26 million billion, accounting for over 20% of the economy’s outstanding loans, an increase of 8.93% compared to the end of 2021.
