A female student at Hanoi University mysteriously disappeared after changing rooms

On the afternoon of May 30, an investigative officer of the Cau Giay District Police Department, Hanoi, said that the Criminal Police Team – Cau Giay District Police had received the report and was coordinating with professional forces to search. The missing person is Ms. Nguyen Thu Huyen (SN 2000, Thanh Hoa hometown, fourth year student at Hanoi University).

Regarding the incident, on the same day, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cuong (Mrs. Huyen’s brother) said that the family lost contact with this female student on May 29. The girl’s phone was still ringing, but no one answered. Mr. Cuong shared that at the beginning of May 2022, Ms. Huyen started to practice and then moved in the room, without informing her family about her new place of residence.

“I called all of Huyen’s friends, but they don’t know where Huyen is. My sister doesn’t have a boyfriend, but shows signs of being a bit stressed about studying,” said Mr. Cuong.
