Triangle of Sadness is told from the perspective of male model Carl (Harris Dickinson) and his girlfriend who is social media star Yaya (Charlbi Dean). Although not in the super-rich, thanks to their outstanding appearance and influence on social networks, the duo was invited to appear on a yacht full of names from the super-rich.

And also from here, the hidden corners of the upper society gradually revealed. The yacht is full of luxury people, two models and the least expensive social media star. However, they have to show a luxurious look to integrate into this society.

Here, they have many problems arising, from meeting an elderly British couple with a hateful personality, a German woman with a stroke. The film also revolves around a broken captain, the manager Paula is no different from a tyrant. What they have in common is that they both despise the cleaner Aigail.

By the time the yacht is swept by a storm, the wealthy guests are struggling to cope with a dangerous situation on the deserted island. As it turned out, rich people who were very confident and arrogant began to fear because they did not have the survival skills to survive. And at this moment, they are completely dependent on the cleaning lady they always consider to be the scum of society.

Suddenly, from someone with no status in that high society, the cleaner Aigail became the leader of the group one step at a time. After the film, the audience realized the message that each person always has their own value and we must cherish that. Because of being put in the most dangerous situation, it is not certain who has the greatest ability to survive.

The bold film created a huge wave of controversy
