China: Torrential rain in a province near Vietnam, many people are dead or missing

According to Xinhua, in Fujian, five victims were found in a collapsed factory building and three others in a collapsed residential building.
Heavy rains began on the evening of May 26 in Wuping county, about 210 kilometers from the coastal city of Xiamen. Video posted online showed the street covered in mud and some sections of the road partially washed away.
According to Chinese media, the rains damaged crops, caused power outages and destroyed 39 houses in the district. More than 1,600 people were evacuated.

Weather forecast shows that heavy rain will fall on seven provinces in southern China from May 28 to 30 in Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan and Guizhou.
