– Honestly, I didn’t think about how welcome the audience gave me. I’m not pressured by the aura of being an actor to always stand out. I believe that the audience has more and more choices of good episodes to watch, so they will be delicately fastidious.

Of course, when watching a movie with the appearance of an idol, the audience will like it, it will be easier to calculate. And if the movie is good, the actors are good, the audience will still remember and support it – that’s my case.

As for the sympathy with the character Tu, during the filming process, I was no longer me but the character Tu. On the script, I discussed with the director and producer to edit and develop the new, multidimensional Tu character.

To conquer the audience, to have a character Tu, thorny, so multifaceted, why? A series of questions and problems I posed to Tu and I solved them in order to bring the result that Tu was “sick” like that in life!

– I am the most demanding audience and the most difficult to ask of myself. I always set a higher goal for myself every day and force myself to go through the hard times and reach that goal. Difficult scenes such as driving a canoe, fighting martial arts, driving a large displacement vehicle… I did it all by myself to get the most out of the character’s emotions. Although the crew has a cascadeur, I don’t use it. I’m very self-expressive, but after finishing the movie I’m “loud” because my skills have increased.

– I thank the audience for accepting my character. However, I feel like it would be better if I tweaked things about the character a bit. I’ve always felt unsatisfied with myself. With what I’ve done, I often think “maybe I haven’t tried hard enough”. I feel that the more difficult it is to act in a movie, the more I like it, if it were to give me a gentle, gentle role to beautify the frame, it would be difficult for me to participate.

I don’t have much time because I have to take care of my business, take care of my family, do sports. So with that much time, I try to make the role really good and new to audience enjoy. I set a goal of only doing one movie a year.

– Perhaps because of my family background, I myself live in unfavorable conditions. I am a Khmer living in a remote area. I am fortunate to have a family background – my mother is well educated, so her direction must also be good. In addition, my father died early because he saved the life of a drowning man. I am proud of my family.

I still remember when I was studying for the university entrance exam, I studied everything from culture to acting, but when I applied, I applied to the University of Law and Economics, not the Theater School because I was afraid… I would pass the exam. If you will study, you will not be able to do business.

Many times I want to “discharge” to live instinctively, enjoy, when I have a little stable economy. But I find myself responsible, alert, rational, dividing time between work and family. And when I’m flying, when I’m filming, I put all my passion into the character.
