Today (May 30), profit-taking pressure appeared after a series of four consecutive increases, causing VN-Index there are times of reversal. The market had 289 gainers, 145 decliners and 65 unchanged stocks, trading with a volume of more than 16 trillion dong. The highest peak that VN-Index reached was nearly 2pm, reaching 1,296.22 points.
However, investor sentiment was somewhat untied after the cautious buying and selling period, which stimulated the cash flow to bottom-fishing, so the main index jumped up in the afternoon, gaining nearly 9 points and closing close to the milestone. 1,294 points.
Closing the session on HNX, HNX-Index also increased 1.6 points (0.51%) to 312.77 points with 133 gainers, 70 losers and 52 unchanged. Market liquidity decreased by nearly 16% compared to the previous session. Total matching value reached 15,167 billion dong.
By the end of today’s session, VN-Index extended its uptrend to the fifth consecutive session. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, this group was a strong net buyer on HOSE with a value of more than 1,640 billion dong.
