The highest tuition fee for international schools in Ho Chi Minh City is nearly 900 million VND/school year
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has more than 20 schools that teach bilingual programs or programs of England, America, Canada, Australia, commonly known as international schools. These schools are planning Admissions new schoolyear.
Most international schools are expected to increase tuition fees by about 10-40 million/year compared to the previous year. Specifically, at the preschool level, the tuition fee ranges from 100-300 million VND/year, 150-500 million VND/year for primary school, 200 to 700 million VND/year for high school.
Ho Chi Minh City International School (ISHCMC) is always one of the schools with high tuition fees “towering” in Ho Chi Minh City. In the year 2022 – 2023, the tuition fee of the 11th and 12th grades will reach a record of 871.3 million VND/year, an increase of 49.4 million VND (the 2021-2022 school year is 821.9 million VND/year). The tuition fee for grades 1 to 10 ranges from 589.1 to 763.7 million VND/year (last year was 555.7 – 720.4 million VND/year).

Australian International School (AIS), the tuition fee in 2022 – 2023 is the highest in grade 12 at 734 million VND/year, an increase of 35 million VND compared to the 2021 – 2022 school year (699 million VND/year). Tuition for grade 1 also increased from 455 million VND/year to 482 million VND/year, an increase of 27 million VND compared to the previous school year.
North American International School (SNA), for the 2021-2022 school year, the tuition fees from grades 1 to 12 in different programs range from 436,517 million VND/year to 655,757 million VND/year. By the school year 2022 – 2023, this tuition fee is expected to increase by 13 – 33 million VND depending on the grade.
Some bilingual schools that offer Cambridge programs have also reported tuition increases. For example at British Vietnamese International School (BVIS), from grade 1 to grade 12, the tuition fee in 2022 – 2023 ranges from 406.9 to 550.5 million VND/year, an increase of about 20 – 30 million VND compared to 2021 – 2022.
