Penalize: According to Decree 100/2019 on sanctioning traffic violations, a fine of 4-6 million dong is imposed on car drivers traveling on the sidewalk, except for the case of driving the car through the sidewalk to enter the house. A fine of 400,000-600,000 VND shall be imposed on motorcyclists traveling on the sidewalk, except for the case of driving the vehicle through the sidewalk to enter the house.
