Closing the time to announce the English Premier League match schedule 2022/2023

Recently, BTC English Premier League has closed the time to announce the schedule for the 2022/2023 season. Accordingly, the schedule of the new season will be announced at 15:00 on June 16 (Vietnam time). Next season will have some adjustments because the 2022 World Cup will take place this winter.

Specifically, the 2022/2023 Premier League will have a break from November 12 to December 26 to create conditions for national teams to attend the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. In addition, the start date of the season was also pushed forward to August 6 instead of August 13 as usual.

The final round of the Premier League 2022/2023 will be played simultaneously at 10pm on May 28, Vietnam time.

With the shortened tournament time, it is likely that the clubs will have to compete with a denser density and the fact that each team has to play 2 matches a week is almost certain to happen.

Attending the 2022/2023 Premier League, there will be 20 clubs including 17 teams that participated in the previous season and 3 newly promoted teams, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Bournemouth. The top candidates for the championship will still be Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
