To explain this problem, experts used a mathematical tool called a logistics map. This is a very useful tool in describing situations where some variables, such as the amount of carbon in the atmosphere, can grow but reach their limit in nature.

To create this map, the scientists took into account various variables such as human population, the potential of carbon reduction strategies and new technologies.

Scientists think that in the best-case scenario, when humanity reaches the limit of carbon production, Earth’s climate will stabilize at a new average temperature that will also be higher than current levels. But in general, this level of heat is still harmful to humans because it leads to higher sea levels and more extreme weather events.

But in the worst-case scenario, the researchers predict that the climate on Earth will lead to chaos, no equilibrium and even no repeating patterns.

Accordingly, a turbulent climate will have seasons that vary wildly from decade to decade, even from year to year. In particular, some years will experience sudden extremes of weather, while other years will be completely peaceful.

Even the average temperature of the Earth can fluctuate wildly, that is, there are changes from cooler to hotter periods in relatively short periods of time. This means that if the above phenomenon does not improve, we will not be able to determine which direction Earth’s climate is going at all.

In addition, the unpredictability of future Earth activity also means that any possibility of control and manipulation of the Earth system is towards equilibrium and this is beneficial to the habitability of the Earth. biosphere will be lost.
