A source from the club revealed, this led to at least 4 potential rookies being removed from the shopping list by the big boss MU in the past 12 months.
Ten Hag met the man in charge of recruitment at MU at the beginning of the massive rebuilding work to revive the Red Devils into Manchester.
The Dutch coach clearly stated his procurement requirements. The Telegraph confirmed that any decision to recruit new players will only be approved if both Ten Hag and director of football John Murtough agree.
After veteran transfer negotiator Matt Judge leaves Old Trafford, Murtough will review the application and directly participate in the negotiation process with head of recruitment Steve Brown.
