Walking on the North-South railway, a girl in Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) was unfortunately hit by a freight train. The incident left the victim with a broken neck and had to be hospitalized in critical condition.

The accident happened at about 19:30 on May 30 at km 263+ 010 on the North-South railway line, the section through Quynh Lam commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.
At that time, NTY (born in 2008, residing in Quynh Lam commune, Quynh Luu district) was walking on the railway tracks when unfortunately, the North-South freight train rushed over and hit him. The impact was so strong that the girl was thrown off the rail and seriously injured.
Realizing the incident, local people quickly gave first aid and took the victim to the hospital. Because the wound was too severe, it was diagnosed with a broken neck, broken thigh, and was life-threatening, so the victim was transferred to a higher level for emergency care.
It is known that although the train had sounded the warning horn continuously, but Y. could not hear clearly, so a tragic accident could not be avoided.
Currently, the victim is still in a deep coma, receiving intensive care at the hospital.
