Compared to the 31st SEA Games, the biggest change for Vietnam in the upcoming tournament is the coach position. After successfully defending the gold medal, Coach Park Hang-seo will only focus on the national team, while the task of leading U23 is given to Coach Gong Oh-kyun. Through recent training sessions, it can be seen that the Korean leader is making drastic adjustments in tactics, such as switching to a four-back system and attacking more.
Manh Dung said: “The team now plays with a different scheme of SEA Games 31, while the preparation time is very short. But we all try our best to adapt and fulfill our roles well. In the diagram Coach Gong’s tactics also have many interesting things.”

Vietnam will launch the Asian U23 Championship, meeting Thailand on June 2.
