Follow The Sun, Tourists to Finland, if they want to test their tolerance against fear, can visit one of the scariest attractions in the world. The park where the statues are fitted with real human teeth. Created by Veijo Rönkkönen, Finnish sculptor who completed 450 statues during his lifetime.
After his death in 2010, all these humanoid statues were placed in the garden of the house in Finland where he lived with his parents. However, the creepiest part of the statues is that some use real human teeth. Other statues have strange eyes that seem to always follow the viewer, making them even more terrifying.
Scary park is open to the public
Each statue is made from concrete and placed in different yoga poses – another hobby of the late artist. Up to 25,000 people visit each year, drawing people to Parikkala Sculpture Park. It is open to the public, there is no entrance fee, but visitors can contribute as much as they want.
One person wrote on Trip Advisor: “This park is creepy enough to give you nightmares. Real human teeth, cold glass eyes and semi-nude statues in every imaginable pose.”
Another wrote: “The individual standing statues are so spooky. This is a haunted place with crazy creations.”
A third admitted: “One might find it a bit odd, but well worth a visit.”
