The above awareness raising starts right from the children. Recently, Singapore has launched the program “One seed for each child” to encourage students to grow their own trees. So far, more than 430 thousand children have participated, the program is expected to increase this number by 70,000 this year.

Singapore aims to expand by 300 hectares of park space by 2026, with each household being just a 10-minute walk from the park. In addition, the country has a recovery plan for 100 species of plants and 60 species of animals.
