The contract of the defender in 1994 with the HCM City club expired at the beginning of this year. My Anh and Le Hoai Luong reached an agreement to join Thai Nguyen Club with a fee of up to several hundred million. However, the HCM City Club initially did not agree to let My Anh leave.
