Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Evaluation of Training Quality (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), said that the second round of Competency Assessment Exams had 38,774 candidates, the ratio exam/registration is 96.08%; in which, 25,255 candidates took the first exam. The analysis results showed that the average score of all candidates taking the second round was 671.9 points, with 61 candidates over 1,000 points. The candidate with the highest test score is 1,107 points and the lowest is 212 points.

Assessing the score spectrum of this exam compared to the 1st round, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh said: 65% of the candidates taking the 2nd round took the 1st exam. The distribution of the 2nd round of scores for this group of candidates is rather high. than the first test. Previously, the distribution of scores in the first round of this group of candidates was higher than the general distribution, while the results of the second round of this group increased very little compared to the results of the first round (the average score of the first round of this group was 692). points, phase 2 is 702 points). Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh added that for both exams in 2022, a total of 92,891 candidates took part. The distribution of scores of these 92,891 candidates (using the candidate’s highest test results if taking both tests) has a normal and wide distribution, showing the test’s high ability to classify candidates, which is convenient. for recruitment.

“This score distribution is similar to the score distribution of previous years, but the test results are somewhat lower. This may partly be because the 2022 candidate group is affected by more difficult conditions than the test group. students of previous years, such as the interruption of the school schedule, the partial shift of learning form to online…”, analyzed Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh.

From June 10, the Certificate of Competency Assessment results will be sent to candidates by post in the form of certified mail to the contact address previously registered by the candidate.
