In this video I want to talk a little more about the issue of the culture industry and how US culture is coming to us precisely through these industrial scale culture productions. The cinema was one of the main responsible for this. Hollywood productions continue to dominate cinemas around the world today and promote US culture. Also, nowadays, music and series also contribute to this wide spread.. Now I ask: could a culture with a history very different from ours be “grafted” without it seeming forced? Do the values of US culture fit into our country? Wouldn’t it be an illusion to embrace these values and at the same time detach ourselves from our own history?
