In June 2020, Tu continued to escape while serving his sentence in Quang Ngai and was arrested after 15 days on the run. After that, Su was sentenced to 3 years in prison for escaping from prison and 3 years for Theft. The common penalty for both crimes is 6 years in prison. In summary, Trieu Quan Quan was sentenced to life in prison.
