According to state media channel CCTV, the “most inconvenient convenience store” sells drinks and some snacks, including potato chips, to visitors. The price of this store is also not much higher than the store in other locations.
As the store received media attention, many netizens expressed questions about the operators of this particular point of sale.
Talking about his profession, one of that special team shared: “The store doesn’t make a lot of money, but tourists really need it and are very grateful for it, so we all feel that what we do is meaningful. All new hires share the same fear of starting this job, but they get used to it very quickly. The only inconvenience was the use of the restroom.
