Successfully dismantled 64 illegally built houses on agricultural land

The government of Cu Kuin district (Dak Lak) has just coordinated with Viet Thang Coffee Company to finish dismantling 64 illegally built houses on agricultural land to welcome the project. Most of the households obeyed the decision of the District People’s Committee.

This morning (June 1), discussed with PV InfonetMs. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh – Director of Viet Thang Coffee Company said that 64 illegally built houses on agricultural land that the unit managed were dismantled on May 31, according to the original plan that the district Cu Kuin proposed.

According to Ms. Hanh, there were some difficulties during the enforcement process on the first day, but then people complied and dismantled it themselves with the help of local authorities and company officials.

“When entering the coercion, the people’s compliance was very good, so the Cu Kuin district government changed its state from coercion to helping people dismantle their houses,” said Ms. Hanh.

Before that, like Infonet It has been reported that Viet Thang Coffee Company (belonging to Vietnam Coffee Group) is leased more than 962.5 hectares of land by the People’s Committee of Dak Lak Province in Buon Ma Thuot City and Cu Kuin District.

However, taking advantage of the contract and loose management of enterprises, 64 illegal houses were “sprung up”, intending to “prepare” the construction planning of Trung Hoa urban area in the village. 3 and village 8, Ea Tieu commune.

After the People’s Committee of Cu Kuin district issued the decision to enforce all 64 houses mentioned above, most of the households complied with this decision.
