The attraction of STEM activities for high school students

Fschools STEM Day 2022 took place with many activities for teachers and students to promote the STEM movement, including the final of Fschools Stempetition 2022, a workshop to share STEM teaching experiences for teachers. activities, STEM experiences for students, and exhibitions of STEM products created by FPT Schools students nationwide.

The program received the attention of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, Binh Dinh Department of Education and Training, Binh Dinh Department of Science and Technology, speakers and judges with many experiences in STEM such as Dr. Chong Su Li – Chairman STEM Center Petronas University of Technology, Malaysia, Dr. Dang Van Son – Vietnam Stem Alliance, MSc. Le Ngoc Tuan – Founder of Maker Viet, Director of AI Research and Application Center, FPT Software Quy Nhon and teachers and students in Quy Nhon.

STEM activities engage students to experience

The teachers and students participating in the program shared the exciting atmosphere with the attractive performances and debates of the 11 finalists of the Fschools STEMPetition 2022 under the FPT High School System; visit the exhibition booth with dozens of diverse STEM products made by FPT students themselves, and STEM experience booths by FPT High School System, Maker Viet, Quy Nhon Center for Science Discovery and Innovation perform. Experience spaces with 15 STEM spaces covering various topics such as self-driving car racing, stop motion filmmaking, smart home technology, roller coasters, lava eruptions, battery making from fruit, etc. providing an afternoon of fun and rewarding experiences for students.

Along with the exciting activities for nearly a thousand students, teachers also had the opportunity to share experiences on correct STEM understandings, how to implement STEM activities, and introduce resources to learn for students. STEM teaching activities in many sources around the world.
