The defendants were investigated for the act of “violating regulations on bidding, causing serious consequences”. According to the announcement of inspection conclusions on the procurement of medical equipment, supplies, biological products, test kits, vaccines, drugs to prevent and control COVID-19, the total value of procurement contracts of units in Dong Thap in 2020 and 2021 is more than 742 billion.

Particularly for Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company, units in Dong Thap have purchased 10 bidding packages with a contract value of more than VND 233 billion. In which, the actual purchase value is more than 197 billion VND, nearly 157 billion VND has been paid and more than 40.6 billion VND have not been paid.
