Dao Trong Nghia (born in 1998) and Tran Huu Phuc Vinh (born in 2000) are from Viettel Cyber Security Company (Viettel Cyber Security). This is the third time Viettel has been honored at this contest. Earlier at Pwn2Own Tokyo 2020, the unit also had two experts win when hijacking Samsung and Sony SmartTVs. A year later, at Pwn2Own Vancouver 2021, two other experts also successfully exploited vulnerabilities on Windows 10 operating systems and Microsoft Exchange Server.
