According to the forecast, the domestic gasoline price on June 1 will probably be adjusted up, possibly about 350-850 VND/liter. If the gasoline price is adjusted to increase at this level, this is the first time that the domestic gasoline price has exceeded 31,000 VND/liter. And this is the 5th consecutive increase of gasoline prices.
Thus, the domestic gasoline price since the beginning of the year has increased by 6,741 – 6,774 VND/liter.
Previously, on May 23, the Inter-Ministry of Finance – Industry and Trade adjusted the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline by 680 VND/liter, the price of RON 95 gasoline was adjusted to increase by 670 VND/liter. After the increase, the maximum retail price for gasoline E5 RON 92 is 29,630 VND/liter and RON 95 gasoline is 30,650 VND/liter.
The price of oil products was adjusted down by 760-1,100 VND/liter. Accordingly, the selling price for diesel oil is 25,550 VND/liter, kerosene is 24,400 VND/kg, fuel oil is 20,590 VND/kg.
Regarding gasoline prices, according to a report on domestic petroleum price management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade recently published, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the average price of some finished petroleum products in the world (transactions on Singapore market) used to calculate the base price for the operating period on 11/5/2022 compared to the beginning of 2022, the fluctuation increased from 50.23% – 67.09%.
