The setting up of checkpoints and control was carried out through the night” – Mr. Hung informed Labor.

According to Mr. Hung, in addition to setting up checkpoints in the area, local authorities have also informed on the commune’s loudspeaker system and warned people in the whole area to take precautions. Along with that, it is recommended that people lock their doors carefully to avoid this particularly dangerous object from entering the house.

As recorded until 5:00 am on June 1, at the entrance and exit checkpoints in Thanh Long commune, functional forces are still on duty to control and check people and vehicles entering and leaving the area.

Previously, according to the announcement, on the evening of May 31, Trieu Quan Quan (31 years old, living in Phu Cuong commune, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province) was serving a life prison sentence and escaped from the detention center of the Department of Articles Criminal Investigation – Ministry of National Defense (in Thanh Long commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province).

In 2013, the Military Court of Military Region 1 sentenced him to life imprisonment for the crimes of Murder, Robbery and Desertion.

At the end of 2015, when serving a sentence in Quang Ngai, Su escaped from prison. After being arrested, in 2016, Su was sentenced to 3 years in prison for escaping from prison and 3 years in prison for Theft of property. The total prison sentence is life in prison.

On the afternoon of June 3, 2020, while serving a prison sentence at the Military Detention Center in the Central Region, Military Region 5 stationed in Quang Ngai, Trieu Quan climbed over the watchtower, clinging to the water pipe to the ground, and escaped. . After 15 days of hiding, Su was arrested while at an electronic shop in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.

Military Court of Military Region 5 then sentenced Trieu Quan to 3 years in prison for escaping from prison and 3 years for Theft of property, the common penalty for both crimes is 6 years in prison. The sum of the punishments that Trieu Quan must serve is life in prison.
