Assassin’s Creed Origins’ coming to 60FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series
Ubisoft has confirmed plans to release a new generation update for Assassin’s Creed Origins on June 2.
According to Engadget, Ubisoft is upgrading a game Assassin’s Creed old for modern consoles. The developer has revealed that the 60FPS update for Assassin’s Creed Origins released in 2017 will come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on June 2. The graphics improvement doesn’t seem to include 4K support or other visual changes, but it still breathes new life into the game.

It’s not clear what motivated the developer to bring 60FPS to a game that’s been out for 3 years. Ubisoft once released a similar upgrade for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in 2021, but that was 1 year ago and for a game released closer to that time. However, Origins As one of the more well-received games in the franchise at the moment, it’s also a strong impetus for Ubisoft to spark more interest in the game.
This is also an opportunity for modern console owners to return to ancient Egypt with smoother visuals.
