Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien is the Chairman of MobiFone

The Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises has just issued a decision to appoint and appoint Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien, Director of the Department of Technology and Infrastructure, Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises as Chairman of the General Board of Directors. MobiFone Telecommunications Company with a term of 5 years. The decision takes effect from June 1, 2022.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien’s predecessor, Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, was also appointed by the Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises to hold the position of Member of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).

It is known that Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien was born in 1974, his hometown in Nam Dinh. Mr. Hien holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance Law from Queen Mary’s School, University of London, UK. In addition, he holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a bachelor’s degree economy – finance.

Before serving as Director of the Department of Technology and Infrastructure, Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises, Mr. Hien worked for many years at the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) and held the position of Deputy CEO of SCIC.
