President Zelensky’s 9-year-old son gives his father military advice

According to the sheet Mail OnlineMrs. Olena Zelenska (44 years old), wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskysaid she is trying to be “honest” with her children about the ongoing conflict and their separation from their father.

The President’s Wife Ukraine said their two children Oleksandra (17 years old) and Kyrylo (9 years old) were aware of the situation and the 9-year-old boy even gave his father advice on what the armed forces should do.

Zelenska also said she was heartbroken by the impact the conflict had on her family. According to the wife of the president of Ukraine, she has to take care of two children while her husband handles a mountain of tasks.

“Fortunately we can arrange life so that the children don’t have to go anywhere, and I don’t have to go far from them. My daughter is graduating soon and we are all worried,” Zelenska said.

“This is an important milestone in her life and unfortunately it comes at a difficult time for our family and our country at large. There will be no prom, nothing will happen. We will be attending the high school graduation ceremony remotely. But she will apply in university in Ukraine,” Zelenska said of her daughter Oleksandra.

First lady Ukraine said his son Kyryo is homeschooling “like all the other kids”.

“I really want our kids to go back to school on the first day of September. I’m working through this period and separation. Our family has been divided. I see Volodymyr periodically at the office. If he doesn’t have a meeting, I can go in and see him,” Zelenska said of her difficulties.

Ukraine’s first lady said the children understand that this difficult period will end at some point, but the question is “when?” continuously given by them.

Ms Zelenska also said she “always tries to be honest” with her children about the conflict.

“With my eldest daughter, it’s easier, she’s an adult. With my son it’s different. He’s a growing political scientist. He knows everything, he gives us military advice. , what should we buy,” Ms. Zelenska said.

“It also gave advice to his father on what tanks, planes, helicopters to buy, what we were lacking. Which country is helping us. It is a military expert. You can talk about this with him for months,” she added.
