The percentage of workers who have no intention of withdrawing is 31.1% and having other opinions is 7.9%. In which, 56.7% of workers in the North intend to receive one-time social insurance, lower than 63.3% of workers in the Central region and 63.5% of workers in the South. For electronics and garment workers, the rates are 59.8% and 62.5%.

Before many comments about “proposing to reserve the payment period after withdrawing one-time social insurance”, Mr. Tran Hai Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Insurance, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said, although the content of the amendment to the Law on Social Insurance this time does not proposed this content, but this is also an issue that the drafting board is considering to come here to amend the law whether or not to supplement this provision.

However, if it is implemented, there should also be regulations to limit the withdrawal and payment such as: Regulation of a certain period of time after withdrawing the one-time social insurance to be allowed to reserve.

In the same opinion, Mr. Hieu said that, if applied according to that proposal, there should also be clear regulations on the reservation period and avoid the abuse of withdrawing one-time social insurance and then making additional payments.

Sharing information on the orientation of social insurance policies to 2030 and some expected amendments to the Law on Social Insurance, Mr. Tran Hai Nam said that the goal of Resolution No. 28 is to strive to reach about 45% by 2025. labor force (LLC) in the age group participating in social insurance.

In addition, the revised Law on Social Insurance also proposes to amend the conditions for enjoying the retirement regime in the direction of gradually reducing the minimum number of years of payment of social insurance premiums to enjoy the pension scheme from 20 years to 15 years to 10 years in order to create conditions for employees who join social insurance late and have a short time to participate in social insurance to access and enjoy social insurance benefits…
