At the investigation agency, Hung confessed that he was a driver for a company in Binh Duong and knew a person named Toan (whose background was unknown). On January 22, 2021, Toan asked Hung to bring drugs to deliver to a man (whose identity is unknown) at a location on Hoa Binh Street, Hiep Tan Ward, Tan Phu District with a salary of 5 million VND. After receiving the goods, Hung took a Grab car to meet the man of unknown origin, but before he could deliver the drugs, he was caught red-handed.

In court, Hung admitted the entire crime. When he had the last word, Hung apologized to his family, apologized to his lover and advised her to find another man and forget about herself. At the same time, Hung also hopes that the jury will also appreciate the sentencing.
