Suspect Tran Ngoc Son in An Giang entered his grandmother’s house to steal tens of millions of dong to buy an Iphone 13 Pro Max for his girlfriend.
On the morning of June 2, the police department of Cho Moi District Police (An Giang) prosecuted the accused and detained Tran Ngoc Son (23 years old, living in An Thanh Trung commune) to investigate the act of “Theft of property”. .
According to the investigation, on May 18, Son passed the house of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bach Lien (67 years old, Son’s grandmother), saw the door closed. Son knows that his grandmother is not at home, so he intends to steal property.
Son climbed over the wall, broke into his grandmother’s house, opened the safe and stole more than 74 million VND.
Son brought the stolen money home and hid it. In the afternoon of the same day, Son bought an Iphone 13 Pro Max worth nearly 35 million VND for his girlfriend.
The grandmother discovered the theft to the police to report. During the investigation, Cho Moi District Police discovered that Son was a suspect, so he invited him to work. Son confessed to the crime and handed over the remaining money.
