In mid-May, Dong Hoa town police asked the People’s Court of the same level to apply the measure of sending Hai to a compulsory educational institution. The court had accepted the file, but had not made a decision, Hai went to his ex-wife’s house to kill 3 people.

Hai married Duong 4 years ago, has a daughter. In daily life, Hai often has conflicts with his parents and brother-in-law. More than two years ago, Hai and his wife divorced, the girl lived with her mother.

According to the investigation, Hai said that his wife’s family many times prevented him from visiting their children, so hatred arose. On the afternoon of May 28, he brought a knife and hammer to kill his ex-wife and parents. After committing the crime, he took his 3-year-old daughter to send his biological parents to look after him and then drove his motorbike to Ho Chi Minh City to hide.

Phu Yen Police in coordination with the Criminal Division of the Criminal Police Department launched many scouts to track down Hai. By the evening of the same day, they caught Hai while hiding in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, and moved to Phu Yen to investigate.
