Tottenham successfully recruited Perisic

Ivan Perisic officially joined Tottenham when his contract with Inter expired. The 33-year-old signed a two-year contract with Spurs and became the London club’s first recruit this summer.

“Tottenham announced the completion of the procedure to recruit Ivan Perisic. The Croatian player will join the club on July 1 after his contract with Inter expires,” the Tottenham website announced.

Perisic was born in 1989, his forte position is left wing in the 3-4-3 formation. He is a quality addition to the Tottenham squad next season. In terms of class and experience, Perisic is superior to Spurs’ current two options, Ryan Sessegnon and Matt Doherty.

Perisic is two-footed, so he can play on the right flank, even in the middle as an attacking midfielder or a virtual striker. He is expected to become a partner of the attacking trio Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski.

During his career, the 33-year-old player has played for many famous clubs such as Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Inter, Bayern and won many titles such as 2 Bundesliga titles, 1 Serie A, 1 Champions League.

Perisic is also one of Inter’s best goal contributors in the 2021/22 season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 35 appearances. In all competitions, the Croatian player scored 10 goals and had 9 assists, with Inter crowned the Coppa Italia champion. He won the Goal of the Month award for his strike against Bologna in April.
