With standard all-wheel drive, the hybrid features a four-cylinder engine that produces 194 horsepower, a 25-horsepower improvement over the standard non-hybrid model. And with a time of 8.0 seconds from 0-100 km/h, the Corolla Cross Hybrid is also faster than the pure petrol model.
Small upgrades have been made to the front end and buyers can choose from five different trim levels: LE, XLE, S, SE and XSE. Sport options are also available on the S, SE and XSE models. The previous four models offer standard fabric seats inside, while the top-spec XSE comes with premium SofTex faux leather.

The standard 8.0-inch touchscreen now features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity and a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, combined with multiple USB-C ports in the cabin. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is also standard equipment, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with person detection and lane keeping assist with lane centering.
