Traders ‘swallow’ billions of pig farmers

On June 2, Mr. Do Dinh Tuan (living in Tan An ward, An Khe town) said that 11 households in TX. An Khe continued to submit an application to the authorities to denounce the fraudulent behavior of Mrs. Vo Thi Van (SN 1983, Tay Son ward, Pleiku city, Gia Lai, temporarily residing in An Khe town).

Mr. Do Dinh Tuan is owed more than 243 million VND to buy pigs.

According to the denunciation, in October 2021, Vo Thi Van went to households in An Khe town to collect pigs. After buying pigs, Van did not pay the people as committed.

The total amount of money Van owes to 11 households is more than 1 billion VND, of which the person is at least 35 million VND, the most is more than 243 million VND.

Mr. Do Dinh Tuan, a victim, said that his family has 3 farms, with hundreds of pigs. In June 2021, a neighbor came to Mr. Tuan’s house to ask to buy a pig for Vo Thi Van. After that, Mr. Tuan sold pigs to Mrs. Van a total of 17 pigs for 118 million VND.

According to Mr. Tuan, after that fair trade, a few weeks later, neighbors continued to come to Mr. Tuan’s house to order 100 pigs for 592 million VND for Van and promised to pay in full 10 days later. However, these two people did not pay on time and promised to beg for debt until September 15, 2021. To this day, Van and Mr. Tuan’s neighbor still did not pay as promised. Currently, Ms. Van owes Mr. Tuan 243 million dong.

It is known that Van is currently raising a small child.

To serve the investigation, the Gia Lai Provincial Police Department informs who is the victim, who has related rights and obligations but has not worked and has not submitted a petition, requesting to the Public Security Authority to report the incident and be guided to solve according to the provisions of law.
