A smartphone with a 21,000mAh battery appeared, priced at nearly 20 million VND
Chinese electronics company called Oukitel has recently introduced the smartphone with the “biggest” battery in the world called Oukitel WP19. This device is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 21,000mAh, which is about 5 times the capacity of the current iPhone 13 Pro Max.
As announced by Oukitel, the 21,000mAh battery on WP19 can provide about 7 days of use with just a single charge. The device is capable of 36 hours of continuous video playback, 123 hours of continuous music playback, or up to 3 months of standby time.
However, due to the large battery capacity, fully charging 100% of the battery of the device takes quite a long time, about more than 4 hours, even though it is equipped with 27W fast charging through the USB-C port.
With a huge battery capacity, the design of WP19 is also quite pitiful. The device is up to 14mm thick and weighs up to 485 grams, twice as heavy as the iPhone 13 Pro Max. With a “lean” design, the WP19 also supports IP68, IP69K waterproof standards and meets the US military MIL-STD-810G durability standard.
WP19 is equipped with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen, FHD + resolution and 20: 9 display ratio. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
In terms of performance, Oukitel is only equipped with MediaTek Helio G95 chip, a mid-range chip for average performance. It has 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. WP19 is also equipped with 3 main camera system on the back including 64MP wide-angle camera, 20MP night camera and 2MP depth measurement. The selfie camera on the front has a capacity of 16MP.
Oukitel WP19 is currently being sold on AliExpress e-commerce platform for 799 USD, equivalent to about 18.5 million VND.
