Yesterday afternoon (June 2), many places flooded in Ho Chi Minh City such as: Phan Van Hon Street, Song Hanh Highway 22 (District 12), Quoc Huong, Nguyen Van Huong, Thao Dien, To Ngoc Van (Thu Duc City) ), Phan Huy Ich, Pham Van Chieu, Le Duc Tho, Le Van Tho, Nguyen Van Block (Go Vap district), Ung Van Khiem (Binh Thanh district),…
In addition, some flooded spots in the city center area such as: Le Lai, Calmette, Pham Ngu Lao,… (District 1). Some sections on the roads of Cong Quynh, Bui Vien, Nguyen Cu Trinh, Nguyen Van Cu, Le Loi, … in the city center also recorded local flooding after rain.

At some stations, the authorities measured rain with quite a large amount of rain such as: Ly Thuong Kiet: 77.5mm, Tan Quy Dong: 62.5mm, An Lac: 55.6mm, Nguyen Huu Canh: 50.7mm, Thanh Da: 49.8 mm.
According to the Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Station, today, June 3, the medium-strength southwesterly winds continue to dominate the southern weather. From morning to noon, rain may appear early in some provinces, however, the rainfall is only about 1/3 of the area, in the afternoon and evening the rain gradually increases.
