Specifically, apparel production increased by 22%; production of electrical equipment increased by 20.4%; production of drugs, pharmaceutical chemicals and herbal ingredients increased by 16.8%; hard coal and lignite mining, leather and related products production by 13.5%; production of electronic products, computers and optical products by 11.6%; production of prefabricated metal products (except for machinery and equipment) increased by 11.5%; production of machinery and equipment not classified elsewhere increased by 11.2%.
Particularly in May, compared with the same period last year, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 12.1%; water supply, management and treatment of waste and wastewater increased by 5.5%; mining industry increased by 4.2%; electricity production and distribution increased by 2.4%.
Bac Giang leads the country in IIP
