On June 3, Hau, 41 years old, residing in Dien My commune, was criminally detained by Ha Tinh police to investigate the crime. Killingaccording to article 123 of the Penal Code.
According to the investigation, around 8 pm on June 2, after drinking, Hau beat his wife while shouting. When his neighbor, Hoang Xuan Dieu, intervened, Hau took a knife to chase.
Authorities allege that, after losing track of Dieu, Hau went to his house to find him, and found Mr. Hoang Xuan Lac (72 years old, Dieu’s father) watching TV in the living room, the suspect brandished a knife.
After stabbing the old man to death, Hau took the weapon and went home to entrench. Some people who came to advise him to let go of the knife were also threatened by him to cut.
After a few hours, Ha Tinh police controlled Hau and brought him to the headquarters to take a statement.
