Nha Trang wants to open a 60m wide road through the city
The planning unit of Nha Trang city proposed to open a route connecting Vo Nguyen Giap street to the main axis of the old airport, more than 8 km long, 60 m wide, 8 lanes.

Currently, the proposal is being proposed by the Nha Trang government to collect people’s opinions in adjusting the local general planning to 2040. The route after completion will be the main axis, important for organizing mass public transport ( light rail, rapid bus…) incorporating bicycles; helping to connect the areas of Nha Trang and Dien Khanh with the Tran Phu route along the sea.
As a proposal, the route has not yet been budgeted. However, because of going through the center, when implementing, it will have to recover 50,000 m2 of land along the route, of which residential land is nearly 40,000 m2, with more than 270 affected households.
In addition to the above project, in planning, the consultant also proposed to build a 22m wide road from An Vien urban area through Hon Ro mountain to connect Nguyen Tat Thanh Boulevard. This contributes to the connection from the southern area of the central coastal urban area to Cam Ranh airport.
Nha Trang is in Khanh Hoa province, with an area of more than 250 km2, a population of about 500,000 people.
